Where to take a huge Pittsburgh penguins fan?

My husband is a huge Pens fan, and for father's day my sons and I are surprising him with a day trip to Pittsburgh. (We recently moved within 4 hours of Pittsburgh) I've read we can't tour Mellon Arena, and the season will be just over so game tickets are out of question- where are good places in Pittsburgh to take a Penguins fan??
