Do cat's loose some intelligence after a tragedy?

He isn't less intelligent, he is sad :( He misses his brother terribly, cats become very attached sometime and losing their kitty siblings is harder on them than on us from time to time. He will most likely go back to normal, but maybe a new friend might cheer him up, that's up to you tho. You just have a depressed kitty on your hands.
