What can I do with this social working degree?

I am going to go to a local community college and major in Human Services. Then I am going to transfer to a 4 year grad. school that has the BSW program, MSW program, and a Ph.D program for social workers. I want to go for my Ph.D and I'd like to be teaching college level courses or be a social worker for a good agency.. preferably in family counseling. Can you tell me what my best bet would be? And how much would I be making? I live in new york. Thanks.
