Politics of Racial Extortion...will it last forever?

The very last conversation I had with my father this year we spoke about politics and he told me he "like Barack". I found this so disconcerting for two reasons. The first is I told him very long ago I would be the first person of mixed heritage to be elected to the Presidency. The second is I spoke to him time and time again that there were many politicians who would take advantage of the fact that the civil rights movement happened and the fact that it was a miserable failure. I wonder if he ever listened to one word that came out of my mouth or he's more concerned with standing with black people. Yeah it hurts.
