Need advice re an uncomfortable situation...?

This is what I would do. I would tell them that due to the loss of all that money and the hle of everything, you can not give them the free week and can no longer give them a discount. This is a business and I'm sorry but you can't afford to be so generous. None of the contractors or people you owe money to are so generous to you. I wouldn't worry what your beach friends think.
