I need a major SAW fan to answer this?

in the third one i think, it ends with the doctor and her husband being killed. and amanda as well. and i thought that the couples daughter was left in a closet where she was being poisoned. im pretty sure this was the big cliffhanger and i dont ever remember it being resolved..
