How can i get my ferret, and new puppy to get along? 10 points?

A ferret can stand up to a small pup.. but the pup may well get nipped if she's not careful, or you could get the house stunk out if your ferret gets too excited! I wouldn't be allowing them to play together yet, certainly introduce them, but keep the pup on a lead and preferably sitting (I know, I know, that's difficult to start with!) until she learns some respect for the ferret. Slowly, slowly, until they can greet each other calmly.
