Going to Africa! Need help!?

Is this your first time in Africa? And you will be staying in a Masai village? This is going to be a really big cultural shock for both you and your kids. I am an African, have grown up in Africa as well but even I know, I couldn't manage to live in a Masain village, it is truly rural and I mean extremely rural, with no electricity, running water, toilets outdoors, if you are lucky, they will have latrines and if you have never used a latrine, I don't know what to say because my parents grew up in the rural areas and now, they don't like using latrines, when we go to the rural areas, I always pray I can hold ... till i go home, the stench is unbearable, and then the food... I highly recommend you book into a nearby hotel and motel and maybe spend the day in these masai villages, I don't think you can manage to live in one, I know I can't and Im african, I have definitely seen a lot more rural life than you have. The bracelets, bean bags, socccer , dolls sound like good ideas, and food wise your ideas are good as well, don't forget bottled water, crisps, generally take lots of food because I dont think the kids will like the food in the village
