Can someone with a BCD or OTH from the military join the Patriot Guard riders?

if you couldn't apply yourself to get a good discharge then why would the patriot guard want you to ride with them? If i was a guard and you requested to join i would not accept you because you didn't care to always be honorable while in the service you could not be honorable to ride with our group.
