Camaro engine sounds old?

You could have opened hood, Sounds like a bad bearing possible alternator, Obviously sounds like something run by belt. If you have 1 serp. belt remove and check pulleys by hand for roughness, make sure you check tensioner pulley.Only other option is take a short piece of hose and put to ear and listen at all pulleys to find noisy one, engine running. just don't get hose tangled up in moving parts. Could also be timing chain noise or defective water pump.
